Going to Taormina, many Rainbows in the Sky.

Passeggiata a Taormina.
Tanti arcobaleni mi hanno accompagnato.

This is the first photo on the motorway to Taormina. You can see the Rainbow and the remaining of the black volcaninc sand on the right side.

Prima foto nell tratto dell'autostrada per Taormina.  Potete vedere l'arcobaleno all'orizzonte a la sabbia nera vulcanico di lato.

After 10 Km I have found a rainy weather  and a reinforced Raibow. The volcaninc sand is on the right side.

Dopo 10 chilometri ho trovato pioggia ed un arcobaleno rinforzato. La sabbia vulcanica è sulla destra.

Here is the motorway exit for Taormina you before a tunnel. Volcanic sand on the emergency lan.

I have stopped my car to take a picture of the Rainbow.

Ho fermato la macchina e fatto una foto all'arcobaleno.

Here we are in Taormina.  You can see the black volcanic sand fallen from the eruption cloud and the difference with the floor.

A fantastic picture of Taormina GULF. On the street you can see the difference beetwen the area cleared from the cars traffic and the volcanic sand.

Back from Taormina: here is just after the toll gateway to enter to the motoway. The black volcanic sand is everywhere.

Ritorno da Taormina: appena dopo il casello. La sabbia vulcanica è ovunque.

Stopped at the gas station. The black sand creates small mountains near the sidewalk

Fermo alla stazione di benzina. La sabbia nera crea piccoli cumuli vicino il marciapiede.

The whole gas station area has been covered from the volcanic sand. Note: the gray color in this picture is wrong because it has been over exposed from the camera. The right color is in the next picture.

Again a nice Rainbow, the black volcanic sand an a Truck slowing entering the gas station for safety reason.

What is doing this veicle  ? This is a special one, it cleans the street: is has a circular brush on each side of the veicle; they move the volcanic sand to the center of the veicle then it is drawn inside and the street cleared (look carefully on the right side just near the worker, you will spot one brush)..

Cosa è questo veicolo ? E' speciale, pulisce la strada: possiede delle spazzole circolari montate su ogni lato; muovono la sabbia vulcanica al centro del veicolo dove viene aspirata all'interno (se guardate attentamente sul lato destro, appena vicini i lavoratori, vedrete una spazzola..



We are at the end. Just a note: sicilians find more dangerous the volcanic sand than the eruption.

Siamo alla fine. Nota: i siciliani trovano più pericolosa la sabbia vulcanica che l'eruzione.
